Important information about Ultra Beasts, all that you need to know

The Ultra Beasts share a variety of traits with one another, including:

• Each of them possesses the Ultra Boost power, which raises their top stat by eliminating a rival Pokémon.
• An Ultra Beast first appears with the moniker “???” before being captured.
• Ultra Beasts are not listed in the Pokédex unless they are caught, not just seen.
• They all make the same sounds when they cry.

 

Catch Ultra Beasts:

• Regardless of the circumstances, all varieties of Poké Balls, save the Entity Ball and the Master Ball, have a capture rate of 1 when used to catch an Ultra Beast.
• When used on one of these Pokémon, the Ente Ball has a catch rate of 5 times as high (and 0.1x when used on any other).
• The Master Ball keeps its capture rate of 255, ensuring its capture.

Wild Ultra Beasts, like Dominant Pokémon, have an aura that boosts one of their stats by two levels:

• Kartanaand Guzzlord are surrounded by an aura that boosts their attack.
• Celesteela, Stakataka, and Buzzwolesurround themselves in a protective aura.
• Aura surrounds Xurkitreeand Blacephalon, increasing their special attack.
• Nihilegocreates an aura that boosts his Special Defense by two levels.
• Pheromosaenvelops herself in an aura that boosts her speed by two levels.
