MultiVersus Halloween Event And Patch 1.04 Notes

The new MultiVersus Patch update has been released, which brings new content, changes, and a Halloween event to the game!

MultiVersus Patch 1.04 is live and features several new updates, gameplay system and UI changes, characters, and announcer packs. In addition, details of the MultiVersus Halloween Event have been revealed, and players can earn candy and redeem them for rewards, such as icons and cosmetics, in the shop.

Overall Patch 1.04 Summary and Halloween Event Details

General

• The Free-For-All mode has been moved to a more prominent position in the play menu.

Characters

• Stripe (Unlockable with 2,000 Gold, 1 Character Ticket, or 700 Gleamium)
  • (Variant) Combat Stripe (Unlockable with 800 Gleamium). Stripe joins Multiversus! Stripe is our first chainsaw-wielding assassin!

Announcer Packs

• Lady Rainicorn Announcer Pack (Unlockable 300 with Gleamium)
  • Say 안녕하세요! (hello), the Lady Rainicorn Announcer Pack has been added to the store!

New Map

• A new and experimental map will soon that can only be played in custom games.

MultiVersus Halloween Event!

• Halloween is coming to the Multiverse, and the event runs from October 12th, 2022 – November 15th, 2022
• Players can earn candy by playing games against other players or bots and extra candy by playing with Combat Stripe, Combat Gizmo, or other Halloween-exclusive skins!

Gameplay Systems

• Anti-Infinite System: The same attack limit has been lowered from 4 to 3. Using the same attack three times in the same hit-stun combo will now decay the attack and all subsequent attacks in the combo. The goal is to put a global soft cap on infinite combos and make combos more creative, which will push players to try new combos.
• Dodge Meter System: There has been an increase in the time it takes to regain the ticks of the dodge meter. This is established to promote more deliberate action and management of the dodge meter and increase its importance.
