Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, PlayStation’s massively popular action-adventure, has finally revealed that the PC port will be available on November 18th, 2022. Just weeks ago, fans only had a broad window for fall. Now, it’s clear what key features will be supported, and what pre-order bonuses fans can get.
For a recap of all the upcoming PC features, you can watch today’s new trailer on PlayStation’s YouTube channel here:
PlayStation’s Spider-Man series has been nothing short of phenomenal, with brilliant storytelling, graphics and more. The new teaser shows off alpha footage, and it looks very promising.
PC has always been a unique platform, so it’s great to know that the port experience will be available just ahead of the 2022 holiday season. Fundamental elements like ray tracing, unlocked framerates, and ultrawide support will definitely be worth the investment.
Now, PlayStation has revealed that there’ll even be ray traced shadows, which is certain to add a new level of immersion, which Miles Morales’ stunning visuals absolutely deserve.
An official post adds that it’ll also support “portable PC gaming devices”, which will go a long way. Once again, PlayStation has found a way to convince longtime fans to re-invest in a AAA title that players have probably already completed and loved.
Pre-purchases are available now on Steam for $49.99 USD, but sadly, the bonuses only unlock game content early. It would’ve been nice to see an addition or two, even if one of the bonuses is the Into the Spider-Verse suit.
If you plan on playing the game anyway, there’s no real incentive to unlock things early, especially cosmetics. It’s a missed opportunity to go the extra mile for Morales, but the PC port itself is probably satisfying enough.
