Do It Yourself! a slice-of-life anime, is coming to Crunchyroll in 2022

Do It Yourself! is a slice-of-life comedy original anime series created by IMAGO and Avex Pictures and produced by PINE JAM. The new anime will launch on Crunchyroll in 2022.

The official Do It Yourself! trailer showcases the series’ main characters, their passion for do-it-yourself (DIY) projects, and some of their antics.

Do It Yourself! is a series involving six girls passionate about DIY projects. Kurei, Takumi, Serufu, Purin, Jobuko, and Shii want to learn everything they can about DIY projects and the tools necessary to make them come alive. Even though they may struggle and fail, they won’t give up. They will keep working on their projects until they succeed.

While many staff members have yet to be announced, they have revealed that Kazuhiro Yoneda will direct the series. Kazuhiro is known for his incredible work on the anime series Akatsuki no Yona, Tiger & Bunny, and Hozuki’s Coolheadedness Season 2. 

The beautiful score heard in the trailer was composed by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu. Kazuyuki is known for their work on Fighting Spirit: New Challenger, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, and Black Clover. 

Kurei, Takumi, Serufu, Purin, Jobuko, Shii, and the other characters in Do It Yourself! were designed by none other than Yuusuke Matsuo. Yuusuke is known for his classic style and works on shows such as Kanon (2006), The [email protected], and Cross Ange: Rondo of Angel and Dragon.

Serufu, one of the main characters of this series, will be voiced by Konomi Inagaki, a relatively new yet superbly talented voice actress. She has starred in the recent shows Black Summoner and Slow Loop. The rest of the main character cast has yet to be revealed.
